As co-owner and founder of Floor Coverings Installed,  I am also a second generation installer with 21 years of experience and education in the flooring industry. Learning the trade from my father; who started in 1971.

Based on over 30 years of combined experience! Not only on flooring installation methods, but also customer service, customer loyalty and true craftsmanship.

Our carpet installation techniques are far superior to those of the average carpet or big box store! They use sub-contactors who don’t care about you, the customer! Their only concern is making money as quickly as possible.

Reasons to choose us!
Here are a few things that make us different from a carpet store or big box store!

1. I have 21 years experience & education in the flooring industry. My partner, who has 6 years experience, was trained by me.  He is a certified installer, not a helper.
   (Fact: about 90% of flooring crews contain 1 installer who has less than 5-6 years of experience and 1 helper who has less than 1 year of experience. More Details on Installers)
    
2. We DO NOT use other sub-contractors to do your work!
   (Fact: Carpet stores and big box stores use sub-contractors. 95% of them have never seen the installers work, work habits or customer relationship skills.)
    
3. You get to meet us before the installation date, easing your concerns and comfort level of who will be in your home!
   (Fact: You do not get to meet sub-contract installers until installation day!)
    
4. You don’t have to be home for us to install your flooring. Don’t worry about taking a day off! Go to work! After all that’s what we are doing! No worries, we are responsible family men, who will have the utmost respect for your home and property. Leave us any specific instructions and we will follow them.
   (Fact: Big Box stores require that someone 18 or older be present during the entire installation process! Sounds like they don’t trust their installers!)
    
5. We power stretch all of our carpet installations according to the Carpet and Rug Institute Residential Standards. Power stretching prevents your carpet from wrinkling in the future.
   (Fact: More than 95% of the carpet installers don’t own, use or know how to operate a power stretcher!)
    
6. All of our carpet seams are sealed on the exposed edges, before we make the seam permanent. Sealing exposed edges keeps the carpet edges from pulling apart, making the seams much more durable. This is also a CRI Residential Standard.
   (Fact: More than 90% of carpet installers Do NOT seam seal!)
    
7. We focus on your job, until it's done. At your house, you are the boss! We respect what you have to say!
   (Fact: subs-contract installers can and will walk off the job if they want to, for any reason they see fit. Leaving you on the phone with your house in disarray.)
    
8. We will be responsible for any scratches or gouges in your baseboards! We are very careful and respectful of all your property! We will dust and wipe down your baseboards as well as paint or fix any damage done during installation!
   (Fact: carpet stores and big box stores will not be responsible for ANY scratches or damages to your baseboards!)
    
9. Our work is guaranteed for 3 years!
   (Fact: most carpet and big box stores only warranty labor for 1 year!)
    
10. At Floor Coverings Installed, we only take on customers that we can give personal and professional time to.
    (Fact: one big box store can have as many as 20-30 or more, various installations per day!)
     
11. We are drug free, neat, clean, professional and courteous.
    (Fact: getting an installer who has all of these qualities, is near impossible.)
     
12. To maintain good communication with you, our installation crews and any one associated with our company, are English speaking US citizens.
    (Fact: your chances of getting a sub-contractor that speaks little or no English are very high.)

We provide installation and repairs on all floor coverings.

We do a thorough clean up of the project areas. This includes , dusting of base boards, vacuuming, touch up paint for any mild scratches on baseboards, and placing any trash bags in your designated location.
